Matt Plumb is a sole trader providing boiler, plumbing and bathroom services across Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

2. What personal data we collect
When you use our website or booking service, we may collect:
- Booking information: your name, email address, phone number, full address and postcode, preferred appointment date and time, and a description of the work required.
- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message.
- Service history: if you become a repeat customer, we may record details of previous work carried out at your property (boiler make/model, service dates, job notes).
We do not collect payment card details. Payments are handled separately and are not processed through this website.

4. How long we keep your data
- Booking and customer records: retained for 6 years from the date of the last transaction, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements.
- Contact form messages: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Service reminder preferences: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use the following services to operate the website and booking system:
- Supabase — database hosting (servers located in the EU/EEA)
- Vercel — website hosting (servers located in the EU/EEA)
- Resend / Gmail — transactional email delivery for booking confirmations and reminders
Each of these providers processes data only as instructed by us and in accordance with their own data processing agreements.
6. Cookies
This website sets a single session cookie (bb_admin_session) which is only used for the admin login area. It is an HttpOnly cookie — it cannot be accessed by scripts on the page. Public visitors to this website do not receive any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.

8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
